Chintoo (Chintu) is a typical Marathi (मराठी) young boy. He represents a typical kid in middle class Marathi (मराठी) family. Normal incidents in his day to day life are given a humorous face in Chintoo (Chintu) comic Series. He faces all the problems that other boys of his age face like pressure to study from home, getting bullied etc. He also enjoys doing pranks. He gets fun out of simple things. He enjoys watching cricket, stealing mangoes from neighbors trees. He loves to have pets his parents always refuse, every time he tries to bring new pet. He loves making fun of the bully Raju who acts kind of stupid many times. But every time Chintoo (Chintu) gets beaten by him. He has studios friend Mini. He dislikes everything that Mini likes. Still he is good friend of her. He also has good friend Pappu who has similar likings. His another friend Baglya is kinda average Joe.
